Infant Toddler Program

Designed to care for the needs of the children age six weeks to twenty-four months old. This program enhances the developmental process for entering into the next phase of life. Children are engaged in individual and small group activities. Through the use of songs, reading, and conversation children learn voice tones, gestures and word pronunciation.

The children are engaged in developmentally appropriate activities to strengthen muscles. Children learn to sit up, crawl, stand, walk and perform other physical skills. Children in this age group go from total dependence on caregivers to becoming partially dependent upon them.

Primary Care Givers
Every child is assigned a primary caregiver. Primary caregivers are there to provide the child with the security he/she needs during this progressive stage in their lives. Imaginations Early Learning Centers believes that providing continuity to children, aid in helping the child feel safe and secure. Children are eager to explore when they feel safe. Therefore, when possible, the child’s primary caregiver will follow the child to each new class until he/she reaches preschool. This helps develop the child’s social and emotional skills.

The primary caregiver will monitor your child’s progress and note any concerns on a daily basis in a journal dedicated for your child. The journals are for parents’ eyes only. The journal will follow the child throughout his/her stay at the Center and will be one of the tools used during parent conferences.

What To Bring?

  1. Parents are to supply the center with diapers, pull-ups, and wipes, prepared bottles, clothes, crib sheet and blanket. NO BUMPERS!
  2. Jar foods will be supplied by the Center. However, be certain to let caregiver know of any food allergies. Children just starting on baby foods should first try them at home. This will allow parents to observe child for any allergies.
  3. Each center will provide snacks/finger foods for children who are learning to eat table foods.
  4. Parents must provide lunch for children who are already eating table foods.
  5. Each center will supply whole milk to children who are no longer on formula.
  6. Each center will supply juice to children. We provide 100% real juice. This juice can not be diluted, therefore, if your child needs diluted juice, please provide it.
